Forsyth County Georgia June 16, 2026 Primary Runoff

Georgia voters go back to the polls on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 for the General Primary Runoff. Forsyth County runoff ballots include statewide Georgia races, federal races, and one local Forsyth County Commission race for voters in Commission District 1.

When is the Georgia primary runoff election?

Georgia's General Primary Runoff is Tuesday, June 16, 2026. This is the runoff for primary races where no candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the May 19, 2026 primary.

When is advance voting for the Forsyth County runoff?

In-person advance voting runs Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Forsyth County says all county registered voters may use any posted advance voting location, regardless of their assigned Election Day polling place.

What races are on the Forsyth County runoff ballot?

Forsyth County runoff ballots may include U.S. Senate, U.S. House District 7, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Insurance Commissioner, Labor Commissioner, State School Superintendent, Public Service Commission District 5, and County Commission District 1. Your exact ballot depends on your party runoff eligibility and district.

Can I vote in either party's runoff?

Georgia voters do not register by party, but runoff ballot choice depends on the May primary ballot you chose. If you voted a Democratic ballot in the May primary, you can vote only a Democratic ballot in the primary runoff. If you voted a Republican ballot, you can vote only a Republican ballot in the primary runoff. Voters who did not vote in the May primary, or who voted a nonpartisan/special election ballot, can choose either eligible party runoff ballot.
